Sonographer, Sharon, along with her husband and two daughters arrived in NZ from the Netherlands in March! We felt privileged to meet her for coffee in Rotorua to find out how they are getting on so far.
In her words they are “super happy and LOVING it!”. They’ve rented a house a 20 min drive from the hospital with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounded by farmland and even a few chickens that they are enjoying feeding. Their daughters have started school this week too!
Sharon particularly loves how Kiwis define themselves by their interests and not by their job which is the case in the Netherlands. They have already started exploring and meeting new friends. We wish them all best!
