Leanne, a Mental Health RN from Wales, joined the Adult Inpatient Unit at Tauranga Hospital. Her previous experience in Mental Health Nursing has prepared her well for the role, and she’s already making a positive impact in her new community.
Leanne and her partner are thoroughly enjoying their life in the Bay of Plenty. They’ve found a wonderful home close to the hospital and are taking full advantage of the sunny weather and the nearby beaches, especially Mount Maunganui. Over the past few months, they’ve been exploring their new city and some of the beautiful tourist spots nearby, including Rotorua. Next up on their list is Hobbiton in Matamata, just a short 50-minute drive away.
